Carolann Copland

Carolann  is an author, writing between Dublin and the South of Spain. She has a Bachelor of Education in English and Drama and has been a teacher for many years. Living in Dublin, Ireland; Carolann considers herself privileged to live alongside some of the world’s most prestigious writers. She has lived in the Middle East and the United Kingdom and is a mother of three children aged thirteen to twenty-five.

Carolann is the founder of Carousel Creates Writers’ Centre; offering writing experiences to writers of all ages and lifestyles in Ireland and Spain.

Through mentoring writers of all ages; from all walks of life; Carolann is happiest when she is sharing her passion for writing. She founded The Carousel Aware Prize for Independent Authors (The CAP Awards) in 2016.
